ITSC and the Land Transport Authority is happy to organise and host the JTC1/SC17/WG8 Meeting in Singapore in April 2009. SC17 is the international standardisation subcommittee for smart cards and personal identification, and its Working Group 8 is responsible for developing standards for Contactless Integrated Circuit(s) Card which do not preclude the incorporation of other standard technologies on the card. This closed door meeting will be attended by international experts participating in WG8.
